Welcome to AIKB
The AIKB (Association Intégration Kreiz Breizh) is a non-profit making Association set-up (in accordance with French law) in 2003 with the aim of helping ‘newcomers’ to settle into their new life in Brittany.
Members pay a subscription of €40 per household per year, plus a one off joining fee of 10€ All members are entitled to vote at the annual general meeting. Members who contribute to the Association by way of their subscription fee are very important in supporting the work we do, so every member is valuable.
We have two offices: Gouarec 22570 and Ploërdut 56160. For opening hours please look at the ‘Contact’ page.
Consequence of Brexit for Brittany
Last August we sent AIKB members a questionnaire about the consequences of Brexit for Brittany.
This was part of a major piece of research undertaken by CESER, (Conseil écononique, social et environnemental régional), on behalf of the Brittany Regional Council.
AIKB was interviewed by CESER in September and then took part in a conference in October where we were able to put forward and discuss the concerns of British residents in Brittany.
The report, entitled 'Et après? Les enjeux du Brexit pour la Bretagne', was ratified by the Region in December and presented to the public on March 2nd.Click here to read an overview which is in English.
